Brazil Building Materials Dealers Association said in a report on the 15th, Brazil's prospects for building materials market is expected to grow 10% in 2010. According to statistics, this year in February, the Brazilian building materials retail sales rose 12%, growth of 4.9%. In 2009, the Brazilian building materials sales rose 4.2% to 45.04 billion reais (about 22.5 billion U.S. dollars).

Head of the association pointed out that this year's situation is completely different compared to last year, to increase consumer confidence, purchasing power increased.
