USA, EU and Japan imports ceramics for daily use have been downward trend(2009/7/2)
According to U.S. Customs statistics show that, USA imported ceramic for daily use 232 million USD 28.23% year-on-year reduction, which imported from China 161 million US dollars, account for 69.2%, 18.81% year-on-year reduction. The first four months, USA imports of daily ceramic has been downward trend in the depth (Jan, 24.73% year-on-year reduction, Jan to Feb 31.65% year-on-year reduction, Jan to March 30.03% year-onyear reduction, Jan to April 28.23% year-on-year reduction).What is noteworthy is that the accumulated data from the import of view, although the United States imports of the continuous shrinkage of ceramics for daily use, but the Chinese market in the United States share of imports has remained at more than 69 percent, and imports from China has always been lower than year-on-year decrease in the average U.S. import decrease.
According to Japan Customs statistics show that, Japan imported ceramic for daily use 71 million USD, 12.35% year-on-year reduction, the imports has been downward trend in depth (Jan 13.88% year-on-year reduction, Jan to Feb 2.87% year-on-year reduction, Jan to March 7.25% year-on-year reduction, Jan to April 12.35% year-on-year reduction). Jan to April imported ceramic for daily use 42million USD, accounted for 58.68%, 3.01% year-on-year reduction. From recent three months statistics, although Japan imports of the continuous shrinkage of ceramics for daily use, but the Chinese market Japan share of imports has remained rise. (Feb accounted for 48.44%, March accounted for 59.77%, April accounted for 62.59%).
According to EU Custom Statistics show that, the first quarter EU (27 foreign trade) imported ceramic for daily use 287 million USD, 23.22% year-on-year reduction, which imported from China 213 million USD, account for 74.1%, 21.74% year-on-year reduction. EU imports has been downward trend in depth. ( Jan 19.48$ year-on-year reduction, Jan to Feb 19.92% reduction, Jan to March 23.22% reduction). China account 75% in EU market of importing Ceramic for daily use. Affected by declining imports, the EU imported from China the amount of the monthly decline, in which ring the month than in March fell by 39.4%, than the EU average in March month ring more than 28.2% decline in more than 10 percentage points.
The above statistics show that the impact of financial crisis, economies in Europe and the United States on imports of the continuous shrinkage of ceramics for daily use, at present do not see signs stabilized.
