The Free-trade Area of China-ASEAN will Be Built in 2010(2009/8/18)

From the first forum of economic cooperation in Pan-Beibu Gulf on, the cooperation in PBG is the new bright point for the cooperation between the ASEAN and China. Nowadays, the forum of economic cooperation in Pan-Beibu Gulf in 2009 is hold. It is known that, The Free-trade Area of China-ASEAN will be built in 2010. When the time comes, there is a zero-tariff in 90% of the products between ASEAN and China, and the PBG will be the most active area in the cooperation between the ASEAN and China.

The cooperation in PBG includes 7 countries, they are China, Vietnam, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Brunei and Philippines.

The topic of this forum is mainly on how to join hands over the economic crisis, expand the cooperation, and change the crisis into the opportunity under the impact of the international financial crisis.

The cooperation in PBG broadens the area of the free-trade area, it makes the trading cooperation extending to institution improvement and platform building come true.
